After 3 years of trying to find shoes that fit, including specialty ortho shoes place (still waiting for call back since they called & measured me 9 months ago) I finally found somewhere to successfully help me......Adrians Boots and Shoes in Bloomington. I have multiple problems including severe edema especially on top of foot since a surgery, bilateral bunions, broken small toe, flat feet, diabetes, numbness, ingrown toenails, psoriasis, & hammer toes. Edema being the worst problem, and causing almost constant pain, and unsteadiness. Can't stand heavy shoes! It has been every bit the nightmare it sounds like! I don't know why I didn't think of them sooner. Was focused on this ortho shoe place, but I finally had enough. I went to Adrian's and they measured me, ordered some shoes they thought might work, and 5 weeks later my feet are better than they've been in a long time! If you are having problems I would highly recommend going to see them. They are very nice & helpful, & have a lot of experience. They have certainly made my life better!!
